Prisoner Re-entry

The Prisoner Re-entry program provides post-release services that include transitional work experience, on the job coaching, job development , job search skills, job retention, support interventions and other support services to individuals ensuring their needs are met facilitating successful reintegration into the community.

The Prisoner Re-entry Program works through a system of pre and post release services that begin up to eighteen months prior to an inmate’s release. Short term services continue after the inmates are released into the community.

Goodwill partners with Southwest Virginia Community College, Virginia Department of Justice, and Virginia Goodwill Network to offer training services that help ex-offenders obtain competitive employment and become productive members of the community.
